I am an engineer-turned ecologist from Chennai and ornithologist currently pursuing a PhD in Quantitative Biosciences, in the Mountain Bird Lab at Georgia Tech, Atlanta, USA. I am an alumunus of the Wildlife Biology and Conservation Program at the National Center for Biological Sciences, Bangalore.

I am fascinated by the natural world — from astronomy to birds. My research aims to understand why species live where they live, especially on mountains, and how this is changing in the Anthropocene.
